Dr. Eigel is the former Senior Vice President of Emergency Cardiovascular Care Programs at the AHA, with responsibilities that included working with the AHA Education Science and Programs Committee to develop scientific statements and guidelines, while also overseeing AHA's membership in the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR).
