More than 350,000 out-of-hospital cardiac arrests (OHCA) occur yearly in the U.S. but only approximately 10% of these patients survive. Since High-Quality CPR is the greatest determinant of survival, Columbus Fire Department in Ohio decided to take a stand on mastering the skill. That’s why they adopted the low-dose, high frequency model of CPR Training through Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI.)

The webinar was held on Thursday, February 11th at 12:00 pm EST. You still have an opportunity to watch the recording below to hear how these adjustments have improved competence through mastery learning, and assisted in the logistics in maintaining credentials for the entire department through COVID.
